Cellphones can interfere with the sound, they pick up radio frequency (RF) interference, which can cause buzzing and other irritating sounds. Same for computors. Check the volume and check that the battery is ok Check the hearing tube and earpiece for earwax or moisture. Check the hearing tube for damage (color changes, hardening, or cracks) and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, contact your hearing care professional. Because the electronics of an In-the-Ear aid are built into the earpiece (in the shell), these aids are particularly prone to damage due to earwax, moisture, and dirt. |
